DISNEYLAND!

Rick's parents took us all to Disneyland for Christmas and we had a GREAT time! Charlotte loved it...

She insisted on kissing and hugging the horses on the merry-go-round everytime she got off, along with other animals she met along the way, such as this elephant.

She got a little Cinderella dress, and had fun meeting up with Kylie. The only downfall (for me) is that she most of the time would only let me carry her. I got very used to hearing her say "Carry you mommy." I think her favorites were Dumbo, Small World, and Peter Pan. We happened to be there when it was really crowded. In fact, on our second day there they shut down the park around 3pm because they reached maximum capacity. But it was all part of the experience. Lots of people, exitement, holiday decorations and music. All in all we had a wonderful time and we're looking forward to taking her back soon.

Wild Animal Park

Charlotte had a great time at the Wild Animal Park--getting her face painted, drawing on the sidewalk with chalk, making a lion mask, and especially riding the merry-go-round.

Christmas Day

Charlotte got really into Christmas this year, which was super fun. Rick's parents were here from Oklahoma City and we all had a great Christmas Day.

Thanksgiving

Here's Charlotte on Thanksgiving. She never lets these two dogs out of her sight...Olaf and Gustaf, named after my parent's two dogs. She is a big fan of stuffed animals, especially dogs. She has another few dogs at home, and sleeps with about 10 stuffed animals every night.

Overall, Charlotte enjoyed Thanksgiving...she called everything turkey and kept asking for more turkey, even though she really wanted more sweet potatoes. It's hard to believe this is her third Thanksgiving.

Some Random Pictures

I'm not sure when Rick took these pictures of Charlotte...but I think they're pretty cute. Looks like she was trying to help out in the back yard.

Happy Halloween!

Charlotte was a doggie for Halloween and she had a fun time with a few of her friends...she and Penelope even went trick-or-treating, and actually really enjoyed themselves, much to my amazement. I thought she'd be a little too young for the whole trick-or-treating thing, but she caught right on. She also had fun telling everyone "Happy Halloween" but it came out more like, "Happy Ween".
